“Authentic and amazing – uplifting and unforgettable”
TWINSBURG (June 16, 2017) –Through their 15-year career and spiritual outreach to fans, Building 429 will bring their inspiring performance to Twinsburg’s Rock the Park Summer Concert Series on Friday, June 30th! Presented by Strachan Novak Insurance and sponsored by Compass Computer Group Inc. and The Edge – Sports & Art Academy, Rock the Park will welcome Building 429’s exciting energy as they perform their brand new album entitled, Unashamed, scheduled to release September 25th of this year.
The band was highly recognized from 2012 through 2014 with a GRAMMY nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album (We Won’t Be Shaken, 2013), a KLOVE Fan Awards nomination for Best Group/Duo of the Year (2014), Billboard’s 2012 Christian Songs Artist of the Year and Christian AC Songs of the Year. Building 429 is ready to share their new music with audiences this summer and anxious to experience how Unashamed will enlighten the crowds.
Jason Roy (vocals), Michael Anderson (drums), Jesse Garcia (guitars), and Aaron Branch (bass) have made music together since before the release of their debut album in the year 2000. With the time, sweat, and emotions they have poured into their music, it is clear that they are “truly focused on bringing glory to God.” With songs like “Where I Belong” and “We Won’t Be Shaken” holding No. 1 for as long as 15 weeks on top Billboard Christian charts, fans everywhere are finding enlightening truths and connecting with Building 429’s phenomenal music.
Working with producers Seth Mosley, Casey Brown, Chuck Butler, and Rob Hawkins, the dedication they’ve established as a group to clearly connect and deliver spiritual performances is uplifting and makes all their endeavors and hard work well pay off. “We wanted to be more honest and transparent about our struggles with an audience that needs to hear it.”
Unashamed is a true reflection of the bands heart and faith. In this album, they express and proclaim their faith through magnificent banners and powerful lyrics. But Building 429 is not just creating music for firm believers of the Christian faith, but they are sharing their stories hoping to reach those who may be struggling in their spiritual journey.
“Even in the midst of life’s uncertainties, the bold proclamation of God’s faithfulness is still possible – and even fun.” The band recognizes that even those deeply invested in their faith, face hard times and worldly speed bumps that create struggle when it comes to our faith and where to turn. “…the messiness of getting to the place of confidence and boldness is part of the journey that can’t necessarily be skipped over. We saw that as an opportunity for this album and believe that God has been a part of the whole process.”
